Monitoring Weekly isn’t just a newsletter. We’re here to serve larger purpose: help everyone improve their application/infrastructure monitoring. To that end, the website serves a core purpose in educating our readers on various monitoring-related topics. I’m always looking for original articles for the website on a variety of monitoring-related topics.

What should you write about?

We’re especially interested in articles on:

  • Guides on monitoring with Zabbix, Zenoss, Icinga2, check_mk, and OpenNMS/LibreNMS
  • Monitoring in an enterprise environment. If you have a mixture of Windows, Linux, and network infra to monitor, we’d love to have you write about it!
  • Integrating FOSS monitoring tools with commercial, off-the-shelf tools (eg, Grafana and Solarwinds NPM)

Articles should be at least 1,000 words. The audience you’ll be writing for is primarily DevOps Engineers/Site Reliability Engineers/system administrators.

Why write for Monitoring Weekly?

Your article will be shared on all Monitoring Weekly social media channels, as well as in the newsletter, plus permanent placement on the website. This allows you to reach a far wider, niche audience than you might otherwise be able to.

If you’re interested, send a message with your idea and let’s chat.
